I love playing with blue eyeshadows and wanted to play around with the Amrezy Palette. I've had the palette for a while and played with some of the shadows but I knew I had to play around with the Leo shade in the palette! I would just like to say also that Amrezy is based in NYC and has incredible style and the palette definitely represents her.
For this look, I 100% recommend doing the eyes first, I didn't and I had to redo my concealer and powder. The blue shades have ALOT of fall out which I usually don't mind but this time it went everywhere. I started by doing my brows with the ABH Dipbrow Pomade in Medium brown and sculpted them with the P.Louise Base and brought it down to the lids of my eyes for a base. With the shades New Yawker and OG in the Amrezy Palette, I put them into my crease as a transition shade. Then, for a little more depth just a tad of 1988. I wanted the look to be tones of blue so I grabbed the Morphe x Jaclyn Hill Vault Collaboration. I grabbed the Dark Magic Palette and used the shade Busted on the outer V of the eye, bringing it inward. Going back into the Amrezy Palette, I took my finger and put the shade Leo all over my lids and then going back in the brush I used to apply Busted and helped blend all shades together. I then took a pencil brush and defined the lower lash line with the shade Buster and added some Thrive Causemetics Lash Extension Mascara to the lashes. I popped on some Ardell Wispies for lashes and it felt so good to wear lashes again, as I haven't in over a month now!
I just wanted to highlight a new product I was trying for this look besides the eyeshadows. I tried the Loreal Infalliable Fresh Wear 24HR Foundation for the first time. I heard Tati Westbrook RAVE about this foundation and I needed to try it because her skin looks fabulous! What surprised me is that it was very liquidity which I didn't think it would be so its not super thick like other full wear foundations. It provides good coverage and isn't too matte because for me personally, I hate matte foundations. They dry you out and I have dry skin to begin with so I try to always hydrate the skin and look for more dewy foundations. I actually did like this foundation for it being the first time I used it, I would definitely use it again. It gave buildable coverage and lasted a really long time and for the price, its better than some foundations in luxury makeup.
