I love the Fall Season for the color orange but specifically burnt orange. It really is super flattering for my skin tone and complexion and always reminds me of the leaves changing colors during this time of year. The weather in NYC has been really strange this fall because it is not very cold quite yet, when it normally would be. With that said, I been enjoying wearing simple pieces with a statement jacket or accessories. This look is PERFECT for this weird transitional weather we seem to be having in the tri-state.
I really like to buy pieces that can be used in different ways and have a multi-functional purpose. The jacket and strapless dress came together in a set which I loved because set pieces are so easy to style! I could wear the outfit together or just wear the dress with no jacket or with another accessory to change the look. I have also been wearing the jacket on its own and with just some jeans and a plain t-shirt because I like to "jazz" up my simple wardrobe pieces but also staying true to my style.
I paired the outfit with some white heels because there is some white stitching in the jacket so it really paired well. I also had a business meeting that day so I was able to dress up the look with some heels but you could pair the outfit with some over-the-knee boots when it starts to get a little colder! This set definitely goes well for the fall and winter because the jacket is super thick and the dress is made from a very thick material as well.
