Fun Pastel Makeup Look

During quarantine, besides being overwhelmed with work, I like to play around with some makeup because it's fun for me to do. For Easter, I did this look to incorporate some pastel shadows that I normally wouldn't use. I decided to play around and see where it took me and I came up with this. Hope this helps you find some inspiration during these tough times:)

I started with my eyebrows and this time I filled them with the Catrice Slim'Matic Ultra Brow Pen Waterproof in Dark. It's actually not super dark because I wish it more dark. It looks more warm toned in my brows so it appears lighter than my actual hair. I primed my lids for eyeshadow with my Dose of Colors Concealer and set that with the Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Finish Powder in Medium 2. I took the shade Coastline from the ABH Rivera Palette in my crease as a transition. Then to make the pink stand out more I popped Monte Carlo in the crease as well but focusing it more on the outer edge of the eye. With a more defined fluffy blending brush, I took the shade Cannes and pressed this on the lower outer V of the eye and brought it slightly up into the crease. I just kept then going back and forth adding more of Cannes and Monte Carlo to make sure they were as intense as I wanted it to be. Then with a shader brush, I took the shade Quench from the Thirsty Palette from Jeffree Star Cosmetics and put that in the inner corner of my eye and just keep building this shade. On top of that, I put the shade Inheritance for some inner corner glow. I jumped into the Amrexy Palette because I wanted a purple shimmer shadow to put in the center of the lid so I used the shade Cupcake and applied it with my fingers. I was jumping around my palettes because I wanted to make sure all the shades went nicely together. I went back into Cannes with a pencil brush and buffed that on the lower lash line. Lastly for the eyes, I curled my lashes and applied the Roller Lash Mascara from Benefit. You can use fake lashes with the look but I'm waiting for a shipment in which has my lash glue so I couldn't do that LOL.

I primed my skin with the Tatcha Silk Canvas Primer and with my Morphe Beauty Sponge I applied the Born This Way Foundation from Too Faced. For concealer, I used the Dose of Colors Concealer which was my second time using it. I actually really love this concealer but the packaging is weird. The sifter in which holds concealer in the tube when you pull out the wand to apply keeps falling out and concealer gets all over the place. It serves as a filter so just the right amount of concealer goes onto the wand but mine pops off a lot so I don't know if that is just a flaw on mine or if it has happened to other people too. I contoured with the KKW Beauty Creme Contour Stick in Dark 1. I went over top of my contour with my usual favorite bronzer the Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Sculpt and Highlight Duo and used the Jouer Cosmetics Blush Duo in Adore. Taking a JH2 brush from Jaclyn Cosmetics, I used the shade Sparks from The Flash Palette as my highlight.

Normally, I never wear a pink lip. I just don't love the color pink on me but I felt it complimented the look super well. I lined my lips with Posie K Liner and used the Velvet Liquid Lipstick in Posie K both from Kylie Cosmetics. No gloss this time, I KNOW INSANE.
